Aerial Bundle Extractors (On-Shore) MEF Express
Designed and manufactured by Maus Italia for the maintenance of heat exchanger tube bundles in petrochemical plants, the MEF Express series of bundle extractors has been designed to quickly insert and pull out tube bundles. This series of bundle puller is designed to operate with a crane to reach all overhead positions, and is the most common and economical choice of bundle extractor.
Ease of Use
Bundle extractor commands are designed from factory to be user-friendly and to minimize operator error. Clearly labeled controls are separated into two blocks: "extraction and insertion" and "balancing and positioning," so that when an operator is performing an extraction, the unit can not be repositioned, and vice-versa.
Safety
Great care has been placed on bundle extractor design to ensure operator safety. Hydraulically controlled bundle supports and insertion arms are available as options, and an optional remote control gets the operator away from the work area. Emergency push buttons are found on the front, rear, and remote control of the machine to cease all operations instantly.
Designed for Tough Environments
Maus Italia has the ability to custome bundle extractors for use in extreme environments, whether it be extreme cold or hazardous area classifications. Special bundle extractors have been designed for pulling in areas with tight area limitations or rare bundle configurations.
